We haven't been able to get a word out to any of you--and assuming by how my phone just blew up, whatever was blocking our connection has been lifted.

Everyone's okay, more or less! We're kind of injured and tired, but it's a lot better than it could be.

Yeah, so, the city got stuck in the Spirit Realm for a couple of weeks. We were overrun by yokai, but we're out now--as evidenced by the fact that we're back in contact. It's only a temporary solution and parts of the city are still wrecked (central square got basically leveled and the entertainment district is really bad off), but it seems like casualties were kept to a minimum.

I think a bunch of kitsune have taken up residence in the park now, though.

Is everything okay on your end?

Well, I mean. I can't say the trip has been UN-eventful...
A couple of pretty harmless stuff happened, like the boat being followed by these birds that made you go mute if you put them too close to your ears, but they helped the boat move and even escape a whirlpool.
