[ Lapis is sharing in his grumbling - they're too nocturnal for this and she had been very happily curled up under the sheets - but she pushes herself off the bed now as well, yawning as she keeps her tail wrapped around the demons neck. It's all very slow and casual, as if she wasn't jumped in her sleep. ]
Don't worry, I don't want blood in the house. It would be a pain to wash out.
[ She worked hard on her decorating, she isn't getting demon blood on it! Especially when it's from some upstart demon crow - seriously, of all the things to barge in here. But the shadows of the bedroom gather around the window, opening it up all the way.
Which is where she promptly throws the thing outside. Considering how hard she threw it, the impact is enough to stun it for a good few moments. ]
Hmm, it's sturdier than I thought...

But then he remembers in his groggy tired state that no, this is a demon and it was apparently stalking his fiance and that was not going to work out so well for it. Demons have to die when they're murderous assholes, so as the creature is flung outside like a damn paper doll--bouncing across the pavement of the driveway below and staggering as it tries to remember what feet are, Jinwoo clicks his teeth. ]
It was stalking you? That's the first I've heard about it. For how long was this thing on your tail?
[ he's going to shift through the shadows, slipping outside and reaching down to grasp the demon by the back of the neck as it tries to stand. ]
I'm still irritated that it's a crow. Of all things.
It feels a little insulting...

[ Lapis watches as the demon struggles to its feet, completely apathetic to its plight. What was that one phrase... Play stupid games, win stupid prizes? While she wouldn't consider herself one of the strongest fighters in the city, she's still no slouch either even in her retirement.
She'll follow Jinwoo outside, shadows twisting her into her wisp form before she reshapes in front of the demon, watching as he grasps the demon by the back of its neck. There's more squawking as it attempts to struggle and lash out at Jinwoo, but those squawks quickly turned pained when shards of light pin its wings to the ground; the glow of Lapis' eyes brighter for a brief moment.
There's the steady thump-thump-thump of her tail against the pavement now, a clear sign of her anger even if her expression is iced over. ]
So we can add identity theft to everything else. Maybe we should pluck all its feathers out first.

[ there's a little bit of a flare to the glowing umber-purple in his eyes as his temper rises by degrees. Hm. Funny feeling, that.
Sure it's probably normal to feel like that yep its just another day. ]
It doesn't look like it preens half as well as other crows do. I'd bet the feathers are dirty, and making a pillow out of dirty feathers, well...
I think it's not worth the trouble to clean them just for a souvenir.

[ Which she did ignore, it's not the first time a demon as muttered threats in her general direction. Maybe she should've taken it seriously this time... Though she does notices how his eyes flare that little bit more. Hmm...
Well, he seems alright besides that. Maybe it's nothing.
She does take a moment to consider Jinwoo's words, hands on her hips as she thinks of what to do. ]
True, and really I would rather not have any of this... thing in our house. [ Pause. Then, calmly, as if this is a perfectly hinged and sane suggestion; ]
What if I just set it on fire.
[ The crow seems to panic a bit at that suggestion. Clearly it doesn't want to become toasted bird. ]

[ the creature is still struggling, but it's absolutely a failed effort, there's no breaking Lapis' grasp. Its throat doesn't even make a sound now--what with how hard she's gripping the thing, it's probably crushed its larynx... oops. ]
Fire is effective. We could just do it in the back yard, tell anyone who asks that we're just burning some old compost.
no subject
[ She is fairly certain she's crushed something by this point; her tails grip hasn't eased in the slightest, and all struggling does is make sure she crushes them further. Maybe another person might have a bit more sympathy, but she has little patience for some upstart crow demon barging into their home. ]
Backyard it is, we can test out that new fire pit I was making for the summer.
[ With that, she not-so-gently drags the creature towards the back of the house; still very much uncaring of its protests. Or whatever it's trying to say, considering his throat is crushed to almost nothing. ]
I hope all this noise doesn't wake anyone else up...

there's a small smile on Jinwoo's face. Maybe he's enjoying the show just a little. Lapis is... honestly so cool. That sort of power, without effort... if it was anyone else, he might be a little jealous. Envious, maybe, but. The fact that it's her... ]
It's the quiet hours of the morning. So long as the thing doesn't scream anymore, it should be a lovely early morning fire.
[ it continues to *try* to squwak and protest, but the sounds come out as wheezing sounds that can barely be heard at close proximity. ] We're pretty good at being quiet.
no subject
Well, it doesn't seem like it can scream anymore. Maybe I was holding them a little too tight.
[ Said as she tightens her tail around them even more, dragging and then throwing them into the fire pit once it's come into view. ]
True, we are. Though... [ She considers that for a moment, debating if she wants to finish that sentence, before flashing a playful smile. ] Well, that's something for later.
[ Terrible.
But she takes a moment to deck the demon in the face with some firewood she had stored nearby, humming for a moment. ]
... Do you want to be the one to set it on fire?
no subject
[ said with the same casual tone as one would discussing something like the fucking weather, really. he's got a small smile on his face as she offers to let HIM do the deed, and he looks thoughtful. ]
I don't have a lighter with me. Otherwise I'd totally be down to do it. [ sadly the fire powers he had so far didn't have fire powers--he's forgetting all about his magic bow that could produce flame, though. [rolled a fuckin 2] he was definitely distracted by the uh. Implication she made. Oops. ]
no subject
[ But that's not going to last for much longer, considering it's being used as fire fodder. She takes a moment to check there's enough wood to get it burning quickly, before perking up at Jinwoo's answer.
And despite her terrible innuendo causing his brain to stutter, she still has no regrets about that, she has a solution. She rummages for the kindling she has stashed nearby, before snapping her fingers (time to put that basic firebending to use) to ignite it with a small flame and then hands it to him. ]
Here you go, this should be enough to get a fire going.
no subject
he's going to grin a little as he takes the kindling she's handed him though, making a hum in the back of his throat. he'll pretend he didn't just forget everything because of the easy 4am flirting, and turn his head to look at the poor creature which has redoubled its efforts to escape. its thrashing its legs, now. ]
Let's not be embarrassing. Take your loss with dignity.
Toss him in the firepit, and we'll get started. Your shadows should be enough to restrain him.
no subject
[ Others may not be so merciful as them. Though some might see as what she's doing as prolonging it's suffering, but well... Maybe it shouldn't attack her when her fiance is nearby and put him at risk, and maybe it shouldn't have named her Nonni as a target.
So if she happens to grab a leg a little too tightly with her tail and break it as she tosses them into the firepit, well, that's just how it goes. The shadows wrap tightly around the demon now to keep them in place, and she cants her head towards Jinwoo; ready when he is. ]
They're not going anywhere now. And if they try to run, I'll just break the other leg.
